    The Naples Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America is proud to announce the 11th Annual ‘Cars on 5th’ show in Naples. Set for Saturday February 14th, 2015, on Fifth Avenue South, the eleventh annual show will be better than ever. Spend a beautiful Saturday on 5th Avenue South looking at the fabulous Ferraris on display. More than 100 Ferraris will be on display with a fine mix of vintage and current V-8s and V-12s from Maranello that are guaranteed to please the crowds. The British contingent will include Jaguar, Lotus, Triumph and the stately Bentleys. Porsches will be plentiful including some rare race cars. American cars will not be overshadowed, with over 60 Corvettes and other muscle cars expected.

Follow Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced “Fronk-en-steen”) as he begrudgingly continues his grandfather’s scientific work by attempting to bring a corpse back to life. Aided by his beguiling lab assistant, Inga, and his hunchbacked side-kick, Igor (pronounced “Eye-gor”), Frederick succeeds in bringing his monster to life but not without dangerous and often hilarious consequences.

    Naples Craft Beer Festival`

    The Naples Craft Beer Fest is a celebration of the art of craft beer. A wide variety of beers from breweries located in this region and across the country and the world are available for tasting. To enhance the tasting, many local restaurants are a part of the Fest and provide food pairings with select beers and are specifically designed to match with a particular brew. These talented chef’s compete to win the People’s Choice award for best pairing, as well as the Brewer’s Choice award, decided by the many brewer representatives in attendance at the Fest. Lastly, the Naples Craft Beer Fest showcases local musical talent to create a truly festive atmosphere. Attendees must be 21 years of age. Entry fee includes: Tasting glass, beer samples, food pairings and entertainment. Food only/designated driver tickets are $30 per person.

It draws over 40,000 people to downtown Naples each year to celebrate Irish heritage and Irish culture in America.

    Time travel back over 10,000 years of South Florida history at one of the largest and most popular living history gatherings in the state. This two-day festival features over 90 historical re-enactors, craft-workers, demonstrators, folk musicians and storytellers depicting everyday life on the Southwest Florida frontier, from Calusa and Seminole Indians to World War II. This year’s event includes a Spanish fort and garrison, complete with mounted Conquistadors, cannons, a missionary, displays and a Spanish colonial cooking demonstration. Sponsored by the Friends of the Collier County Museum and the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

It’s time to pull out all the stops with your Derby Day ensemble and express your inner Southern Belle at the premier Kentucky Derby party in Naples, the Naples Junior Women’s Club Sixth Annual “Derby Dash” at Ridgway Bar & Grill. Festivities will include hors d’eouvres, signature mint juleps, wine selection, 50/50 raffle, best dressed and hat contests, photo booth, live music and several racing games.     40th Annual and Final Great Dock Canoe Race

    This annual Naples tradition marks the end to the busy winter season and the start of summer fun, and is probably Naples’ best-loved spectator sport. Canoe contestants vie in a variety of races. Each year, The Great Dock Canoe Race selects a Theme for the Race. The “Best Dressed Theme Canoe Competition” is judged upon (amongst other things) most creative interpretation of the theme. This year’s theme is “The Last Dance”. The races start at The Dock at Crayton Cove. The race lanes are located west of the markers. The path runs parallel to the City Dock, then through the small cove facing Naples Yacht Club, then north to the Riverwalk at Tin City, which is the halfway point. The return trip is the same course in reverse.
