About Naples Bay

Ranging from 100 to 1,500 feet deep, Naples Bay connects to the Gulf of Mexico through Gordon Pass. An average of 200 million gallons of water flow through the bay each day, thanks to the Golden Gate Canal System. The canal system was built in the 1950s which allows the bay to encompass 135 square miles.
